VINTAGECORAL.COM was designed to educate people interested in buying coral by giving them a brief synopsis of the current coral market, teaching them what is legal and illegal, describing characteristics and showing (in pictures) the many colors of coral.

And as much as we are drawn to the beauty of coral, it is imperative to protect the world's coral reefs from further damage and destruction.  By respecting the reefs and enjoying what harvested before the 1972 ban, we are allowed the natural beauty of this underwater gem without encouraging new and illegal coral harvesting.
